Big congrats to Poppies steward Justin Lovegrove as 
he won a pair of Brits last week.  He won the Critics Choice
and British Breakthrough Awards at a glittering
event at London's O2 Arena.

I'm sure it's no coincidence that his official absence 
at the next Poppies game coincided with a bunch 
of our teenage keyboard warriors bottling, 
big-time, the opportunity of becoming actual warriors.

In the meantime, Gregory Porter remained stoic
in the face of being passed over again for his
album, "Take Me To The Alley".
